| Taiwan students work in Fujian |
| Recent years saw an increasing number of Taiwan students in universities and colleges in the mainland. Many students have chosen to begin their post-graduate careers in mainland China. On March 10, the State Ministry of Personnel issued a working paper containing a series of suggestions to support the development of the Western Taiwan Straits Economic Zone. The declaration also stipulated that Taiwan students graduating from mainland-based institutions of higher learning are free to choose a job in Fujian on a trial basis. |
