The Eighth Cross-Straits Flower Expo and Agricultural Cooperation Fair will open on
November 18 in Zhangzhou. The expo, jointly organized by the flower industries on the
mainland and in Taiwan, has been an annual event in Zhangzhou since 1999. It has evolved
from a regional fair to a national event, serving as an important platform for the promotion
of the Fujian flower industry. It also plays an important role in agricultural cooperation
between Fujian and Taiwan.
