| Cross－Straits publishing house |
| Fujian is planning to create a cross-Straits publishing house, according to the Fujian Provincial Bureau of Press and Publication. The initiative aims to introduce more publications to Taiwan and expand the trade of publications and copyrighted material across the Taiwan Straits. The house has a mandate to promote southern Fujian culture, Hakka culture and the culture of Mazu, the sea Goddess. The publishing house will have a number of distribution points at chain bookstores in Taiwan and is jointly funded by mainland and Taiwan organizations. |
