Till end of 2005,there were total 251 high-tech enterprises ,including 21 enterprises in National Torch Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone. There were 18 Project Technology Research Centers(including 2 national class and 2 provincial class), 38 Enterprise Technology Centers(4 national class and 16 provincial class).Among 2859 patent applications, 1507 were certified, including 88 invention patent. 20 best scientific invention received Annual Science and Technology Award in Fujian Province, 57 received Science development Award. Xiahua Electronic “Micro Crystal Myth” received “Flat Television Technology Award of China”; “E-card” spreads to all province;Xiamen is also the first city using Long Distance Forest Fire Monitoring System which covered 90% of forest area. |
