In the year 2005, GDP of Xiamen reached 102.955 billion yuan,a 16.0% increase.The primary industry and the secondary industry reported an added value of ¥2.057 billion yuan,a 0.7% decrease,and 57.211 billion yuan,a 16.8% increase,respectively,while tertiary industry output was 43.687 billion yuan, up 15.6%;The proportion of these three industries is 2.0:55.6:42.4.Caculated by permernant resident population,GDP per capita in the city was 45,758 yuan( US$5584). GDP of each district is as follows:Siming District: 31.911 billlion, Huli District:30.156 billion yuan,Haichang District:16.41 billion yuan,Jimei District:13.287 billion yuan, Tong’an District:7.392 billion yuan,Xiang’an District:3.8 billion yuan;GDP outside Xiamen island takes 39.7% of the whole economy.GDP above thousands consumed 873.9 kwh,and the water supply hit 204 thousand tons. GDP of 2005 in Xiamen doubles than the figure of 2000.a 15.3% average increase rate during China’s “The Tenth Five-year Plan”.
The total financial revenue of 2005 reached 20.966 billion yuan which was 20.45% of GDP, increased by 18.9 over 2004. 10.592 billion yuan collected by central “Four Taxes”,an increase of 15.0%.Total finacial revenue of the whole year and local government financial revenue all double than year of 2000. In the financial revenue of local government, taxes collected by Administration Bureau for Industry and Commerce is 7.155 billion yuan,an increase of 23.8%;Enterprise income tax is 1.355 billion yuan,an increase of 14.6%.The total expenditures of 2005 was 12.772 billion yuan,an increase of 25.7%.This figure included 4.726 billion yuan for construction which increased 29.3% than that of 2004,and 7.518 billion for regular expenditure,an increase of 21.4%. |
