Enterprises shall meet the following requirements and provide the following documents to obtain the Confirmation of Foreign-funded Research and Development Centre:

1. Documents needed (one copy for each)

A. Application

B. Photocopies of the approval documents for the establishment of the enterprise, the Approval Certificate and Business License

C. Inventory of imported goods (in duplicate)

2. Requirements

A. Imported goods, except vessels, aircrafts, special vehicles and construction machinery, shall not be used to form a production capacity that exceeds the scale of a laboratory;

B. Imported goods are subject to the restriction of the Catalog of Taxable Imported Goods of Foreign-funded Projects;

C. The value of imported goods shall not exceed the total investment volume.

Note:
1. Enterprises shall have a backup copy of the application documents;

2. If the application involves other authorities, the time for processing the documents is not included in the time limit promised by the Foreign Investment Bureau.
