Xiamen Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment is a united non-profiting social organization voluntarily constituted by foreign-funded enterprises, enterprises invested by compatriots of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese, organs and scientific research institutions engaged in foreign investment services, foreign enterprises’ representative agencies and social personnel. It receives professional guidance from Xiamen Foreign Investment Bureau.

Principal functions are:

Promote direct dialogue and communication between member enterprises and governmental departments at all levels; reflect their voice; coordinate and solve problems encountered in production and operation;

Handle complaints lodged by member enterprises, to safeguard the legal rights and interests of enterprises and investors;

Organize member enterprises to take part in all kinds of fairs and investigation activities, to develop sales channels of enterprises;

Conduct training courses in accordance with the needs of member enterprises, to upgrade the quality of their management staff;

Organize member enterprises to take part in all kinds of parties, to enhance understanding and cooperation;

Organize cultural, sports, recreational and health activities, to guide enterprises to strengthen their cultural building;

Handle business in relation to the establishment, extension and alteration of resident representative offices of enterprises of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan as well as foreign enterprises;

Provide timely and detailed information on policies, laws and regulations.
