According to the 1st Preparatory Conference of the 12th CIFIT reports, the 2008 China Fair for Equity Exchange will be held during the coming fair. The CIFIT Organizing Committee will set up Property-rights Exchange Pavilion and Taiwan Pavilion and held series of matchmaking symposia on Equity Exchange, Listed Companies, PE, and Trade in Services, with the cooperation of Sina.com and ASF Group Limited (AUS-SINO-FOCUS, an ASX Listed Australian company).

　　Also, the Overseas Pavilion will be enlarged in the coming fair. A new exhibition area named Economic Cooperation Hall will be set up firstly. The Organizer will invite more international economic organizations to hold relevant activities. They will choose countries from BRICs, VISTAs, and N-11, such as Brazil, Russia, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Korea, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Turkey, and South Africa, as key investment regions as well as invite the western and domestic investors to attend the fair.

　　Besides of the Cross-Strait Economic Cooperation and Development Forum, Straits Travel Fair, and FWCTS, the organizer will set up Taiwan Pavilion firstly and held Matchmaking Symposium on Taiwan-funded Enterprises.

　　Moreover, the organizer will go on highlight the Pavilion Day. Besides of National Pavilion Days, more theme activities such as Theme Activities for Provinces and Cities, Enterprises Pavilion Days.

　　Furthermore, Secretary General of Forum for Economic Cooperation between China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries (Macau) has decided to hold Ministerial Conference during CIFIT. The Portuguese-Speaking Countries will exhibit together in the coming fair, with total 80 booths.

　　The U.S., Brazil, Turkey, Italy, and South Africa have booked large exhibition areas. Turkey has booked 132 booths. Moreover, the US Embassy in Beijing indicated that they would organize 22 states to take part in the fair in the name of US Federal Government.
