On September 8 , the "China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries Two-way Investment Dialogue", hosted by Ministry of Commerce, opened in Xiamen. Vice Misnister of Commerce, Jiang Zengwei, attended and presided over the Dialogue. Economic and trade ministers of seven Portuguese-speaking countries, including Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal and East Timor; diplomatic envoys to China, Economic and Finance Secretary Of Macao Special Administrative Region, other relevant provincial and municipal leaders such as Fujian Province, Tianjin and Chongqing Municipalities, Hunan Province and Xiamen City, and relevant national economic and trade officials as well as the business representatives, totaling more than 300 people, attended the dialogue. Vice Minister Jiang Zengwei stated that since its establishment, the "China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum" (Macau) has made important contribution to strengthening and developing economic and trade cooperation and friendly relation beteween Chinese mainland, Macao and Portuguese-speaking countries and has effectively promoted China and Portuguese-speaking countries cooperation and development in trade, investment, project contracting, personnel exchanges.
