On the afternoon of September 8, the Australia-China Fortune Forum opened at Xiamen International Conference Centre. Themed around “Attracting FDI” and “Going Global”, the Forum features a strategic investment interaction between Australia and China. Also at the Forum, a ceremony was held to mark the official formation of the Australia-China Investment Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Zhang Qinglin, member of the CPPCC Foreign Affairs Committee and former Vice Minister of Construction, was appointed president of the Chamber’s China Council. He also addressed the forum.
