Lu Jiang, born in Harbin of Heilongjiang Province in Aug. 1965, is a female ethnic Han from Huaiyin, Jiangsu Province, entering the workforce in Jul. 1989. As a member of the CPC, Lu holds an in-service master degree as well as the titles of M.D. and Chief Physician. She ever worked as director of the Loan Office at the Health Care Department of Heilongjiang Province; division director and deputy director in the General Office of National Health Supervision Center; deputy director, deputy Party secretary and then secretary of the National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment. Lu is now the director of the National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment and the secretary of its CPC Committee.
