Zhuang Jiahan, born in October 1963, is a male ethnic Han from Hui’an, Fujian province. Zhuang joined the CPC in May 1987 and entered into the workforce in August 1983. He holds an in-service bachelor degree and now serves as deputy secretary of the CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee and secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Xiamen Municipal People’s Government.

1983.8: Started working in the office of Fujian Provincial Planning Commission.

1993.4: Was appointed deputy director of the Fujian Provincial Planning Commission and deputy director of the National Land Region Division.

1996.7: Took office as director of the National Land Region Division as well as the Rural Economy Division of the Fujian Provincial Planning Commission.

2000.9: Became director of the Department of Rural Economic Development under the Fujian Development Planning Commission.

2004.5: Was elected vice chairman of the Fujian Provincial Development & Reform Commission and became member of its Party leadership group.

2005.6: Was appointed deputy secretary-general of the Fujian Provincial People’s Government and member of the Party leadership group of the General Office. Between July 2008 and October 2009, he was entitled to be the Party secretary of the Fujian Provincial Commanding Center for Post-disaster Recovery and Reconstruction in Pengzhou, Sichuan.

2009.10: Took office as deputy secretary-general of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee (official leading role) and became a member of the Conference Group of General Office.

2011.9: Was elected director-general and Party secretary of the Fujian Provincial Bureau of Price Regulation.

2013.4: Was promoted director-general and Party secretary of the Fujian Provincial Department of Environmental Protection.

2015.2: Became secretary of the CPC Nanping Municipal Committee.

Zhuang became deputy secretary of the CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee and secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Xiamen Municipal Government in September 2016. He is also a member of the 9th CPC Fujian Provincial Committee for Discipline Inspection.
