| Developing countries look to XM |
|
Officials from 25 developing nations visited Xiamen's Habitation Exhibition Hall on the evening of April 12 to learn more about the development of Xiamen as a city. The officials were all members of an international study group organized by the Ministry of Commerce focusing on urban economic development in developing countries. They were in China to learn about the Chinese experience over the past three decades of employing excess rural labor in urban development. Their visit to Xiamen lasted until April 16, and also included a trip to Haicang. |
