On July 28, a symphony by the Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra was held at the Music Square on the Island Ring Road, to mark the 80th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China. Renowned conductors Zheng Xiaoying and Wang Junshi brought the soldiers famous Chinese and foreign musical pieces.
